National Parks Fee Free Days in August - Part 2

 

When President Theodore Roosevelt established the National Park System in 1916, he intended to preserve our natural and cultural resources for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. There are 6 days this year on which the National Parks that normally charge an entrance fee will waive them. August 4, and August 25, are 2 of those days. It has been widely reported that the summer of 2021 has seen record numbers of park visitors and has occasionally resulted in closures. The Park Service has been encouraging people to visit some of the lesser-known parks that are less congested and more easily enjoyable.

In this spirit, we have been identifying some of these parks and featuring them in our blogs. There is nothing we enjoy more than helping you create nostalgia about your outdoor adventures for future generations. So, for your consideration, here are some other National Parks:
